is it just me or does the OP seem as stubborn as the ppl requesting to be kicked. i can see where the issue lies when 2 bull headed ppl clash

Except the OP is not breaking any rules/abusing game mechanics.
I do the same myself, you are here with us and you will stay or eat the penalty, why should we have to wait for another person just so you can get any easy pass?
Well in a way they could be a probation status of sorts. If your kicked once, maybe it was the team, perhaps they just don't take kindly to new people. Kicked a 2nd time from another group within 30minutes, your obviously doing something wrong. Thus giving them the penalty. Least I can't see getting put into two trolling parties wanting to kick you just for the lols. It would also punish the person should they que up again and get the same dungeon anyway, either way they are stuck. Leave and penalty, kicked and penalty or just do it.
I don't have an attitude going into a run. I'm perfectly happy to let players watch cut scenes and stay for full trash clears. However, I don't agree with using vote kick because someone "asks" to be removed if they don't like a dungeon.
I'm just incredibly tired of seeing people try to cheese the penalty timer by d/c'ing to force a kick or asking to be kicked and then cherry pick a different group. It's inconsiderate to the entire current party and there is no way in saying they won't do that to a future party as well.

maybe said individual and yourself or another member of the party arent getting along. maybe they are trying to be mature about it and askin to be removed from a tense situation. why not just kick said individual so everyone can go back to pretending to be happy. move forward, carry on with ur lives instead of dragging a situation out making it inevitably WORSE ON EVERYONE.I don't have an attitude going into a run. sometimes u just got to suck up ur pride and look forward or continue being stubborn with your boots stuck in the mud
If they are unhappy they can leave just as easily as they joined without forcing someone in the party to consume a vote kick so they don't get a penalty. If the group is that bad there is also always "vote abandon".maybe said individual and yourself or another member of the party arent getting along. maybe they are trying to be mature about it and askin to be removed from a tense situation. why not just kick said individual so everyone can go back to pretending to be happy. move forward, carry on with ur lives instead of dragging a situation out making it inevitably WORSE ON EVERYONE.

maybe its the groups attitude thats bad. so should the victim of this be forced to endure a penalty because of a toxic community?
I have still yet to see anyone try to explain why someone needs to avoid a penalty that badly via asking to be kicked. To me that sounds like promoting bad behavior and then asking for a kick so that you don't suffer any consequences for your own actions.
