Does your plan for protecting the game go any further than moaning on a forum no one important reads in a language the producer doesn't understand?
And see, here is where I take an issue with your opinion. Just because one person has more time to "put in more effort" than another doesn't mean they deserve "better" rewards. More rewards, maybe, but they already have that in the fact that they can experience more of the game (level all jobs, crafts, complete the zodiac weapons, etc). We all pay for this game. We all deserve the same quality of rewards.
There it is. You are basically claiming that anyone who can't do coil by default are bad players. Generalizing. And you are incredibly wrong.I just don't agree with the philosophy of making game developers cater to people who are bad at their game. They do that enough by default with stuff like Crystal Tower and with how they make every dungeon a zerg fest with weak mechanics. Leave the hard stuff how it is so those of us who know what we're doing have something fun to test ourselves on.
This very comment is the stupid you claim can never be remedied. The level of elitist BS in this post is astounding. Assuming that someone can't do the mechanics because they're stupid? That they 'lack mental capacity?' That is moronic and downright ignorant. It's disgusting. It's quite simple as to why people have yet to clear T5 and T9 still even when they outgear it. You can heal wounds, cure diseases, but you can never remedy stupid. Either they're incapable of learning and adapting even when they overpower the content, or they're not trying. Despite this, I feel that if they're not good enough to do such things that they shouldn't see the content until an actual faceroll mode is introduced that caters to their lack of mental capacity. Which, even then... One could argue that they could fail in that too.
But, I thought it was important to use as many exclamation points as possible because it helps you get your point across!!!!!!!!!1!!!1!1!!!11!!1one!!1!!eleven!11!
When do you start your job at NASA Einstein? Surely they must have snapped you up after seeing 'cleared coil T9 in FFXIV' on your CV.It's quite simple as to why people have yet to clear T5 and T9 still even when they outgear it. I'd like to speak to this, I'm avg level i128 DRG and I haven't cleared T5 yet. Why? Not because I cannot clear the content, but because I took a break from the game and missed out on becoming part of a tight-knit group of players to static with, not because I'm not good (I tend to have the highest (#1 or #2) parser numbers in content I do with friends who have clearly all the coil content). But I lack the static, and yes there are players who are either 1) expecting a carry by having the bare minimum item level to access the content, which you will normally find in DF or 2) to alleviate this low item level problem elitists setup Party Finder parties but don't accept people without a clear already, so catch-22.
It's not just those "stupid" low item level players as you describe them, but its also those elitist mindset players that also hurt the game, honestly I would say more-so than newer low item level players do.
Considering I am reading so many players who dont have a group at this moment in time, how is that you guys havent banded together to form a group?
There seems to be a huge amount of players in the same scenario, I wonder what the problem is, there is no catch 22, start to learn to become a raid leader, the biggest asset to any group isnt a tank or healer, its a dedicated raid leader with a plan.
I won't speak to my personal reasons as it oddly enough is a bit personal lol, but...
Some people simply cannot devote a scheduled time because their real world stuff takes precedence. Some people don't want to feel like a game is a choir as it is their outlet to escape their real world life, becoming a raid leader to some is like becoming a boss at a job, something they don't want to deal with. The problem isn't the commitment, the problem is the mind-set across all player types. We only want to run with our cliques and try so desperately to run out the rest. Its a shame really, because there is talented players on all spectrums but lots of people just don't want to open their eyes and see that.
It's just a game. It's not that serious.Evolution is an important thing in life, if you are not skilled in something you practice, and become better at it, and not asking others to dumb it down, the world (real or virtual) shall not drop down to the limited capabilities of some people, that would be wrong. We shall all work on becomeing better in every way through our life (real or virtual) instead of whineing on problems (real or virtual) we shall overcome the obstacles!
NOBODY plays an MMO for a challenge. They don't have challenges. They have time sinks. You want challenges? Go back 30 years in gaming when gaming meant something.
