Please stop asking SE to make FFXIV more easy!
Video Games are for people who have the time to play and put effort in advanceing. Television and movies are for those people who rarely wanna push buttons but still advance in a story.
Some people asking SE to make it even more easy is not right! Just try to imagine people asking the makers of your favorite TV series or movie to make the episodes or the movie shorter because they have no time or patience to watch the whole series, or the movie! Or dumb the whole series or movie down to their level so they can understand it... You would be pissed to to hear such nonsense! So please I ask EVERY NO SKILL / NO TIME players, stop asking SE to make FFXIV more easy, because it's waaay tooo easy already!
Evolution is an important thing in life, if you are not skilled in something you practice, and become better at it, and not asking others to dumb it down, the world (real or virtual) shall not drop down to the limited capabilities of some people, that would be wrong. We shall all work on becomeing better in every way through our life (real or virtual) instead of whineing on problems (real or virtual) we shall overcome the obstacles!

Big difference this game caters to those opposed to the OP's views more so than those who agree with it. Always has and always will. So it is not those opposed to it which are not in alignment with the design ethos of this game, the game is catered to them more than the hardcore...that's how it has always been and will be in future.

That is not to say SE does not give the hardcore something to chew on in every content patch but the majority of content and how they handle old hardcore content will be the same as currently the case. How it works now and how it will always work is old hardcore made easier, small amount of new hardcore content to replace small amount of old hardcore content in each major content patch plus more casual content than hardcore in ratio per patch or expansion.

You've clearly never done any trials or coil or pretty much anything outside of super basic dungeons then, because it's crystal clear that SE tries to cater equally to the ultra hardcore and the super casual, because there's no way on earth people who think the game is too hard is beating pretty much anything current without some heavy lifting from the rest of the party. People STILL can't beat Ramuh EX in DF more often than not.

Certainly, Savage Coil was designed to cater to people who want the game to be easy, right?

Coils and EX trials are the only real hardcore content. All of which is made more casual friendly over time. If you think coils and EX trials make up the majority of the game then you have not been playing the same game and you have not been paying attention to what they have been doing with such content making easier and easier as time goes on as that content becomes old content.

1h wiping untill the first one goes,
20 mins to get replacement,
30 mins to get the win...

Thats not what a videogame is ment to be!
If you reduce difficulty to the time spend, you already have lost...
Static patterns and stats are a bad way to create challenge, just one piece of gear outbalanced of the norm and you can skip phases if skilled enough to to more damage than it was originally planed... In add the bosses do not feel like "intelligent" because whatever you do, it ignores you and continues with his static patterns... bosses do not even react on your group settings, we had fun doing some with 8 smn or other odd combinations

Thats where you come to the limits of static programming, the border between too hard and too easy is way too close!
Overpowering HM prmals is a good example, back in 2.0 garuda was as hard as coil now... mostly because we had 1.xx gear...

That is normal for a MMO but if you try find friends to play you wouldn't waste any time waiting for party get full nor finding replacements after a few wipes... but I know that hardest hurdle is to find the team to play with.
