Yeah, but freeing up space wouldn't be an issue if space wasn't limited. I played Lotro man, and having that house payment tie us down and eventually have us lose the house we loved and decorated wasn't a fun time. People spent a ton of time getting enough money to get those houses, losing them would blow for those dudes. It's better for everyone if they open up additional space rather than have people lose the houses they cared about when they played.

Which apparently they cared about enough to not visit them for 9 months.
I know a decent amount of people with a house that don't really use it. They only got because it ''was a thing to have a house'', and apparently from what I hear there are lot of plots bought on the larger servers that aren't used either.

They need to add instance housing that scales properly

Instanced housing sounds great. For those that only want to use their house as a personal base.
For someone that really loves having a house, complete with garden and neighbourhood I can see that being a real put off.

I can't answer that. If it follows the same system of ''all servers have the same amount of plots'' then it seems like it will be the same situation as it is now. Not enough plots on the larger servers, empty wards on the smaller servers.

Is the only relevant point I had in my earlier post. I believe it desires more attention then you gave it. (which was less then all the other points in my post)

It could be. Not saying it should be, but for some a house really is worth going through all that trouble.
But yes, paying cash to transfer is not a good solution. However,
the ''transfer of gil is limited'' is a bad argument in support of your argumentation because it is easily debased.
In short, it kind of undermines the rest of your argumentation.

You had been commenting in the other thread and I felt that most of what has been said and brought up before had already "addressed" the things you brought up. I also felt that it was going to be a little pointless to waste all this time replying when the points I made can be dismissed so flippantly.

Don't bring ''other threads'' into a discussion unless you link the relevant posts. It serves no purpose otherwise. (except to needlessly make an argument personal)
