Finally saved up enough for a small house but there are not any to buy. I should have just done rmt like everyone else to get enough. Play at your own pace, don't live your life on here...etc. No it doesn't support that at all. I'm angry and pissed off. I have a job and a family in real life. Why shouldn't I be able to work towards a house on here? All the housing junk they've been giving away with all the events I've been faithfully saving up until I could get my own house, well that's a nice kick in the face.

I agree that more people should have access to owning houses as there are thousand of players and very limited areas. But I don't agree when people use the "I have a job, family, whatever" argument. Most people do. It's your personal life, everyone has their own and SE didn't develop the game to suit it best for yourself. People with jobs, families and whatnot still managed to get houses. I'm all for the "give us more housing spots please" form, but please don't use your personal status as an excuse for how a game works for everyone else. Just my opinion.

That aside, I agree, we need more plots :]

I'm I'm saying that's how it works for me. I don't spend my entire life on here and those are my reasons, my real life is not an excuse, sad you think it is. I can mention my life how I choose without you needing to censor it.

It's a pretty common problem and one Square Enix would like to address. The reality of the system is that they need to get more physical servers to house the extra districts and that takes time and money to set up. I think half the reason they went for the Private Quarters in FC houses was as a stop gap for the issue.

A lot of us are waiting for this but it's not something that is likely to be quickly resolved. That's just the reality of it. In the mean time your best bet is to try the Private quarters at your FC's house or just put housing ambitions aside until SE has a fix.

Invoking RMT though is going to start fights. Even suggesting it as an option is going to piss other forum goers off. There are many people who have earned their housing over time through legitimate ingame means. Try to storm into a thread sounding like your looking for a fight and more people will probably at least treat your post with more sympathy and maybe even it will resonate with enough people to get SE's attention.

I'm not calling your life an excuse. Using it to criticise a game aspect, however, is using it as an excuse. Everyone has their own life, some easier than others, but you chose to play the game the way it is knowing it, and the developers didn't make a game to exclusively please YOU, and people still managed their time and their lives with it. We don't complain we have no plots because we didn't have time to get enough money, because even if everyone had the same amount of gil, plots are still limited and not everyone would be able to get one, because there are very limited plots.

That's funny. I'm sure there was some rmt involved in some of the purchases but to insinuate that we all did that is ridiculous. Most ppl saved up the gil with there fc members and went in on one. BTW I work 50+ hours a week am married and have 2 children and have had a house legit for over a year. Quite your whining lots of ppl in the same boat as you.
