You need not worry about Staris. She rests among the elitists in the game where they are always right and everyone else is wrong, regardless of the situation. If you tell her the sky is blue, she will tell you, you're wrong. If you tell her humans breathe air she will tell you, you are wrong...

No, I think the problem was that, at least from my point of vew as a tank, the idea of claric shuffleing is a big turn off. Have I seen it work? Yes, but for every 1 I see pull it off there are 100 that fall behind on heals because of claric. So even if you want to throw an Aero of Stone spell now and then, PLEASE leave claric off while you're healing. That split second I need to heal ASAP is usualy DURING the cleric switch and when I need my HP back up by 1-2k imediately that extra second to switch can cause me to die, then the healer eats it, and the DPS soon follow. I honestly wish Summoner could use it (Since they don't really need to heal any way) that way they could stat for Scholar and keep cleric up eternally to get the dammage buff with out the heal nerf mattering. Healers really don't EVER need to go cleric, the little extra DPS that comes from you is not made more significant while that heal neft can kill.

TBQH CS Stone II is nothing to sneeze at especially with the tics from Aero & Aero II, WHM can deal really good damage when necessary. I've dished out anywhere from 432-869 (mid 600's to high 800's are crits) on trash and bosses. That's actually really good consistent DPS for a WHM, hell even for DPS. I've notice, and don't quote me as I am not sure if it's static that this is the way it was meant to be or if my crit rate was just really good in comparison to the BRD's I've been with, but I've seen often times WHM out-damage BRD, while in CS alot. And I am not even counting them using songs that nerf DPS output as that would def mean WHM will do more, especially in CS than the somewhat nerfed BRD.

My tank the other day forgot to check my Scholar gear, i91. He did a large pull (3 groups) at the beginning of Snowcloak. We wiped.
He asked "Was the pull to big?"
I responded with: "Did you die?"
We all laughed, and then adjusted down to 2 groups at a time.

Another good concept to live by is that more damage means you don't need to heal as much either. WHM does good damage as Zedd mentions, why waste utility that exists?

Cleric Dancing is nothing once you get used to it. Holy has good AoE potency, plus stuns to keep the tank from taking more damage. DPS that is always worth it, as long as Regen+Divine Seal is up on tank for super pulls.

While you have a point, often times people are so concerned with me, me, me, me, me, that they forget there are other people in the party that maybe first timers that would actually like to experience the content, without being hounded to skipped cut-scenes, because X asshole wants his drop or dungeon to clear book. Zodiac drop rates are not enablers for people to ignore mechanics, proper preparation/briefing before fights, among common courtesy...

    That's an excuse.

But trying to push as fast and effectively (without wipes) as you again even with the newest, worst geared, poorly skilled players in your group is the fun part. Predicting the outcome, and what your group can handle is the challenge, and it is a learned skill.

You don't have to be mean or have mean intentions to always encourage the group perform the best they can.
I don't mind joining a roulette and getting bad/poorly geared/new players. What I mind is getting lazy people who never even try to push themselves or improve. In game and in real life.

Also I haven't seen anyone watch a cutscene in a roulette in a very very long time, your confusing the outliers of the issues with the average.
