Why not Snap > Snap > DK/Twin > Twin/DK > Demo? It works and your demolish benefits from all your buffs except x-potion. You can't get in 5 GCDs if you pop the pot because of animation delay/lock.

.......really?!Should Tackle > PB > Demo > BfB > Snap > IR > Snap > Howl > DK > Steel > Twin > ToD > Boot > True > Demo. Then go into your flank and alternate. If you're going to use a potion, replace Howl with it and push Howl and Steel back by one off-GCD each.
Move ToD to the end if your GCD's are delayed at all after the second Snap or if your SkSpd is extremely low. Depending on your teams comp you can ask for your SCH to use Selene's SkSpd+ skill at the start instead of its standard SpSpd+ to make up for the lack of SkSpd. Anyone using HA Claws should have enough SkSpd by quite a bit.
Because Demo has a higher potency than snap punch. 70 (base hit) + 240 (from full dot ticks 40x6). Snap only hits for 180. So, Demo-Snap-Snap-DK-Twin allows you to follow up with bootshine-true strike-demolish (yes you are going to clip the demo from perfect balance at like 4 seconds to put up another demo with GL3, B4B, IR, and X-Pot). So instead of 180 potency from snap punch, you are getting 230~270 from demolish. Hope that makes sense.

so I deleted my mathematically in depth argument after I noticed that you believe Demo is only 270 potency...Because Demo has a higher potency than snap punch. 70 (base hit) + 200 (from full dot ticks 40x5). Don't come here giving advice if you dont even know the correct potency of an attack.
lol!!!!!!!!!!
edit:
oh maybe its because you calculated 270 potency with the assumption you clip the first demo before the last tick.
sorry?.. i guess.
No no, you were correct. I can't do math when I am tired it seems. Should have put in 40x6 not 5.so I deleted my mathematically in depth argument after I noticed that you believe Demo is only 270 potency...

Question about application of Demo. Why do people apply DEMO when the count is 3 and below? Since 3 would be like 2 ticks of 40 so it would be 40x2=80 potency plus the 70 add that and it would be 150 potency. So isn't it still optimal to use SP which is 170 potency over DEMO when its =>3 counts left?

From my own observations of the various DoTs, sometimes they tick right before they fall off, sometimes they don't.. I think because it's on a tick timer that doesn't always line up with when you apply the dot itself.. (my best guess).. so by re-applying right before it falls off you ensure continuous ticking.. Also, with monk in particular, you have 2 moves at least before you can re-apply it, so if it falls off you are potentially missing 2 or 3 ticks. Individually it doesn't make a big difference.. In a 5-10 minute fight if you let it fall off 20-30 times it is a big difference, though.Question about application of Demo. Why do people apply DEMO when the count is 3 and below?
