I did NOT miss the point. It doesn't matter if one person does NOT go begging. There are plenty of crafter threads complaining about crafting and begging for all sorts of stuff. The most common being crafting is worthless and I can't sell anything threads. Those players are begging and you see plenty of those.

Artisan tools makes it possible to get supra tools. And the Ixal dailies are so good for leveling your crafters. I leveled 6 different crafting classes to 50 in 3 weeks time it the aid of the Ixal dailies. I wasn't around when FFXIV ARR launched but the all the tips about 3x crafting leves didn't show up until at least a month after the launch, which seems to indicate it was added. And with those supra tools, it is much easier to craft those 3 stars and this was added just in 2.3. So they added desynthesis which its analog is like the current SCOB and maybe final coil going forward. But in time SE will adjust all this too, it seems crafting is on schedule different from raid probably because SE sees a different player utilization pattern. Everyone already knows about the new recipes incoming so in 6 months you'll see that things will have moved again. Rember when 2star vanya stuff was big deal, now it is well beyond that, and it is easier to get to 50 now with the aids they put in place. And in no way has SE made things harder for crafting. Stuff has only gotten cheaper with time because it has become more accessible.
