Booing when Coil2 Nerf was announced

I had to chuckle a bit, don't think they were expecting that. Though I agree with one of the audience members who yelled out "coil is suppose to be hard".

Well, look at it this way, suppose it is true that only less then 10% of the server population cleard 2nd coil that get to play the content in final coil, but the other 90% ish who paid the same amount of money to play this game never get to experience the contents, they will not be happy, and might quit the game because of this reason, now who is to pay SE to develop the game for those 10% that can clear end game content?

Well, if you think you can convince that 90% population with what you said and keep them paying SE to develop this game, good luck to you. I've cleared 2nd coil months ago, but I wouldn't moan about 2nd coil getting nerfed to give more ppl a chance, to me the more people happy to play this game the better.

Most Single Player Video Games nowadays have 3 to 5+ difficulty settings now, because of these complaints in the past. Complaints being from both sides: too easy or too hard.

This isn't a Single Player game and why SE from past practice with 1st Coil is taking the Middle Ground and evaluating 2nd coil after 2.4 release.

This thread is your typical over reaction with speculation at this point.

What really surprise me, are:

• People surprised on old content being eased: it always happened on any dungeon of any game. I guess those players are here in their first MMO ever.
• People commenting the Coil 2 is a cakewalk: if it is a cakewalk to you, after the nerf it will continue to be a cakewalk, changes nothing to you, so why bother to comment?
• the noob vs elite war that starts every time a topic like this comes out: uh... well.. this does not surprise me... nevermind.

Would love to, but you know, you kinda have that stupid lockout in place so I can't do it with my buddies. I'll have to wait possibly 6 months or more to see them, thanks SE.

Dev, you must know that even if you don't nerf the contents, those people who are complaining that it is too hard. They would still be playing and try again and over.
If you nerf the contents, it's the opposite effect, you will lose some players who really like challenges. You will hear people who left the game "Too boring, everything is dumped down. Game is nothing but easy mode. At the end."

This is not elitist speaking, it's from experiences from playing an easy contents vs challenging contents in my 15+ MMOs I've played in 15-16 years. I can tell you that all the easy one... many have left that game for that reason. It GETS boring!

They nerfed coil 1 mechanics before putting it into duty finder, am I really the only one who knew beforehand that the same would happen to coil 2? >_>
