Entire post sounds like unneeded complaining just to complain. FFXIV is not Wildstar, nor should it strive to be like Wildstar in any way. If you like how housing works in Wildstar, then play Wildstar, enjoy the much easier housing system and doll up your house there. If you want to play with housing here, then you must abide and play by their own rules and go about housing in the matter they dictate.
If it's expensive, so what? You want it regardless so you will go through whatever length to obtain a house, making your complaints about spending such an exorbitant amount of gil essentially meaningless outside of stating your opinion.
You're quick to compare FFXIV to Wildstar, why not just forget about obtaining a house here and just play that instead? You can't have it both ways without sacrificing something.
How about no? You dudes complain like babies regardless of the fact that Yoshi-P has already came out with a statement that they are working on the problem and will have a fix in the next patch and subsequent patches. What more do you dudes want? I'm glad Yoshi gives you guys insensitive responses as he's been doing as of late -- if you're not willing to wait, then you deserve every terse response he's willing to give. He shouldn't have to tailor his response to every individual complainer and their entitled opinion.
Also you can't compare the scenarios because housing takes up far more resources than something that's instanced. This is how they want to do it. They will find a fix. All of you players with your vitriol and biased complaints don't really help the matter. Deal with the fact that they want to have housing in this manner and take solace in the fact that they are already working on a fix -- they don't need your further complaints. You're better off posting constructive criticism instead.
Again, the funniest part about all of this is the fact that they will figure out a way to make most people happy at the end of the day, and all of this complaining will be for nothing.
