Hard to move beyond something like this.
Imagine if relic upgrades were hyped for months and then announced to have a limited availability.
That light you're getting on your relic, well, for some asinine reason we couldn't program things so that everyone could get it. So, for crowded servers, less than 1% of the players will be able to get that light, and once it's gone, you just have to wait.
Or, how about this scenario:
"We've released the Second Coil of Bahamut. However, due to server stress, there are only 160 instances available. Once those instances have been used, you'll have to wait until next patch to try. Oh, and we're still releasing a limited number of instances on the next patch, but hope to eventually release more. So, Second Coil of Bahamut is released, we know not everyone will be able to play it initially, but please look forward to it"
Would that be right? If not, then shut up about people who are upset that they can't access content because it's NOT AVAILABLE for access.
