Good luck with that. The moment it takes 2x longer (possibly more with your idea) to earn myth here than in bray, you lose pretty much all the vets.Earnestly, I think a lot about this. I will -always- protect the new player, majority be damned - because I dont' feel we have the right to force them to skip cutscenes.
However, the only thing you could do is offer parties -extra- incentive for allowing new players to watch cutscenes. "One or more players is new to the duty. A bonus will be awarded upon completion" kinda deal. If they attatch a bonus of myth (Let's say, for funsies, double myth reward) to the new player (Not necessarily him watching cutscenes, but to him completing the dungeon), then people would be much more patient with that new player / less likely to kick them.
Issue is, this wouldn't stop people from trying to speed run. They -need- to just lock bosses behind a barrier while players are watching cutscenes. That purple mist-wall? Have it up until the Cutscene is completed. Upon completion, have it drop.
Not only does this mean that players watching cutscenes incencitize parties to allow them to (By giving a higher reward), but it ALSO prevents a-holes from just pulling bosses "Because we don't need a second healer / tank / or a dps"
Adding special restrictions to DF is, quite frankly, the worst possible idea for everyone involved.
