Bard Nerfs Offically Confirmed

Oh if BRD gets nerfed I will just quit, simple as that. They plan on making the bard a useless class since our songs are the only real use we have in end game, then people trying to level up a bard will have even more of an issue, I'm not QQing as I couldn't really care less as I am only a casual gamer and the underlining truth is I don't want to focus on another class I liked my ranged pew pew Bard, so yeah way to go SE you managed to take the enjoyment out of the one class I enjoyed playing give yourself a round of applause.

Oh and I understand that we are supposed to be a support class, but to nerf our damage without giving anything in return is just a plain is a horrible design change, but whatever SE its your game.

You're not QQing, just on the verge on rage quitting over unkown changes. It could something as simple as a cast time for straight shot so you dont' have 100% dps while on the move. It could be a little more drastic by putting Bloodletter on the GCD.

Yeah I suppose its rage quitting, and to be honest its a multitude of things, not just the bard nerf but allot of other issues....I mean the game just doesn't seem fun anymore...I feel like my only enjoyment now is to log in every week to get myth cap and maybe do a few runs of coils.. BRD was pretty much the only class I found enjoyment with.

I find it more amusing people were bitching about a nerf in PVE content, I mean this doesn't help anyone other than letting other DPS stroke their Ego's and say that they do more DPS now, poor healers now your job will be even harder because now bards won't be so quick to use their mana songs since they would take even more DPS reduction.

Um, if bards have less dps, they will be MORE inclined to mana song because the raid DPS loss is lower.

Now, if they baked that into the song instead, then yes, they would be less inclined to manasong if it turns out it reduces damage by 30% instead of 20%.

It doesn't work that way - we pop mage ballad when healers need it for as long as they need it, assuming that we have mana to do so obviously. It's not something we are inclined or not inclined to do, it's something we simply have to do when needed.

Sadly this is going to be the voice of a great majority of bard players. Either they quit or reroll something else. Remember we are all a small minority on these forums. The casual player constitutes the majority of people playing this game and if the nerf is significant or noticeable in a way which effects most bards success, I suspect an exodus from the class and a possible impact in player retention.
