What type of gear should I look at getting after hiting 50 doing relic quest atm and have every armor part of peltast set and will have Rubellite hq set I read from here that some darklight parts are not worth it could anyone say which ones I should get and what ones I shouldn't?

personaly,i would suggest to go full darklight or almost.the other set are af2 or allagan or HQ crafted set.allagan i suggest to go there only when you are already pretty geared,af2 cost myth tome and i suggest to save them for your relic +1 wep first and the crafting set can be really expensive.so imo,darklight is the way to go as a starter set and after,allagan/af2 (after that you got your relic+1)

i would like some suggestion about gear.im currently full DL,well almost.i have full DL accessory,dL belt-chest-glove and af2 boot(a mistake i think....same stats then allagan so BiS but used myth tome...) pants/healm from AK but working on getting DL.i also have my relic but its not +1 yet.im missing like 500 myth tome so 2 week because i bought my boot....

my question is,should i upgrade my relic to +1 or getting AF2 chest?someone told me the AF2 chest will be better then getting my+1.af2 chest is BiS also i think.after that what i should look for?i havent started to do coil but i unlocked it last night so i might start run it soon.

i got a question.sometime when i want to refresh my dot,if my demolish/fract have 5 sec or less left,when i try to refresh them,its not working.it say **** has no effect.why?it seem to happen only when it have 5 sec or less.that really annoying on demolish since it doesnt refresh my GL and fuck up my rotation a bit...

If you previously applied your DoTs under the effects of any buffs(BFB, IR, etc), then the previous ones will be considered more powerful than a fresh application, so you cant override them. This is true for all DoTS on any class.

So I have some pieces of gryphonskin. I know I shouldnt replace it with darklight cause it already has the same if not better stats so for materia should I put in strength, skill speed so that i can fit true strike in my rotation or critical hit?

Depends on which pieces you purchased, I'm assuming you got HQ of course - in which case you would not be able to socket anymore strength. The chest though for instance, has no crit on it normally, so you can socket a ton of crit on it - 3 to 4 of the sockets depending on if you use III or IV level materia.

The important thing to note though - The Gryphonskin is better because you will be overmelded it to 5 materia, which will be very expensive. It's worth it of course, but, if you don't do it it's really not much better than just getting DL.
