It took the same "skill" in 11 to get jobs to 50 as it does here. And it's just as fun. I had a ton to 50 and there is very little difference. And in both games they took lots of time. If anything patience is the true skill.

You mean grinding? because it's exactly the same thing that you did in FFXI. You just had to grind *more*
Leveling in FFXI involved no particular skillset (pretty much like in any other MMO), it just involved the patience of withstanding the utter boredom of grinding for a longer period of time.

Got to love how some people are still screaming for SE to design the game around their tastes and demands, instead of designing it around the vast majority of the potential customerbase.
Guess they really don't want this game to achieve any real success.

Hardcore gamers aren't the "main" playerbase of any successful MMORPG. It's that simple.

Hmm... if you need my creds check out my character on ffxiah.com. I think I'm more then qualified to offer an opinion. It's a different game and it takes just as long to get them to 50. You can get a job to 50 in under a month on 11 as well. In fact you can get it much higher. If you want this to be a carbon copy of 11 then you are going to be disappointed. This game offers alot of differences and I like them.
