If any idiot can get jobs to 50 then why do so few have all to 50?
I just explained it to you , but you refuse to understand. do you need a guide for leveling ?ok.
Get the leves that have more mobs.
Get 3-4 friends to log at the same time that you do(static leve-link party)
do the same leves every reset.
    win.

It only takes a bit of cordination with your friends.

PS; actually i have a new person on my ls that joined the 1 of april at rank 25 and he is rank 40 (41?) without doing a leve link static.people Know how to level up but is POINTLESS so they dont do it.They dont even play , becouse the game is boring and the same is leveling up.I had many fights before with people becouse i told them why arent you 50 yet is easy , they would say " i am in no rush" so that is fair enough. They dont go for 50 , they are "enjoying the ride" or so i been told, (even if this makes no sence to me , but whatever to each their own)

The point is that it takes no skill in FFXIV compared to FFXI(or any other mmo i have played up to this day)to level up.

Wow sounds good...but on the other Hand, what are you doing here if you have everything you want in FFXI?
But you are right, its more of a Button smasher with no real meaning but its not the Casuals fault, its just bad Design or incomplete.
And the Rank or Lvl doesnt make sure the people "are also good at it", they just seem to invest plenty of time in that Game.

It took the same "skill" in 11 to get jobs to 50 as it does here. And it's just as fun. I had a ton to 50 and there is very little difference. And in both games they took lots of time. If anything patience is the true skill.

Why not, WoW has plenty of Hard mode raids, and if you think they are easy then you obviously haven't tried them.

There is a big misconception that WoW is easy, its as easy as you want it to be, put the time and effort in and do the hard mode stuff and its pretty rewarding.

If you want to play 11 then why aren't you playing 11. This is 14 if you didn't notice. It's a different game.

Apparently we didnt play the same FFXI then, if u refuse to see the point then have a good day.(i will assume you did play it and had several 75, otherwise your opinion lacks experience)
Whatever you did to get your jobs to 30 is the same thin your gonna be doing to get to 50.You sure that its fun? ok im glad you enjoy it.

I dont. Many others dont.Lets compare how many people enjoy it and how many people dont.Ever wonder why the game is F2P.

Stop telling me to go back to FF11, the game is completely different now and abyssea ruined it, making it the easiest and most casual MMO on the market ATM.

You mean grinding? because it's exactly the same thing that you did in FFXI. You just had to grind *more*
Leveling in FFXI involved no particular skillset (pretty much like in any other MMO), it just involved the patience of withstanding the utter boredom of grinding for a longer period of time.

Got to love how some people are still screaming for SE to design the game around their tastes and demands, instead of designing it around the vast majority of the potential customerbase.
Guess they really don't want this game to achieve any real success.

Hardcore gamers aren't the "main" playerbase of any successful MMORPG. It's that simple.

    No.
I am from the main player base too. I mostly play casually and sometimes the "hardcore" way. The thing is, having to play casually most of the time, I like it better to not have to spend my whole lifetime on 1 aspect of the game. I want to experience them all too, with the time I have. I understand that some elements are more hardcore, and it's ok. But it shouldn't be the whole game nor the majority of it. People should mainly rely on more contents for new challenges and sometimes, sometimes, on hardcore gaming contents.

In my humble opinion as a casual gamer. Hardcore gamers still have the possibility to play FFXIV and other games to fill in the blanks.

EDIT: That doesn't mean I approve of shallow content, I like epicness as well. However, spending many months on 1 aspect is too much for a casual gamer.

LOL cash shop! SE's way to tell their player how they appreciate them... pull the carrot and empty your pockets $$$
And to those who support it: you are kicking yourselves. -- We just need to sit back and laugh at people with cash shop items.
    (Marvelous economics IQ test!)

Comparing FFXI grinding to FFXIV grinding is like comparing a hot dog to a plate of caviar. Not everyone likes caviar , everyone likes hot dogs.
Also abriael i knew before pressing "view post" of a blocked person i knew you were going to toss that line. I never said i want ffxi system , read what the convo is about before steeping in and act like you know jack.

In FFXI noobs looked up to high level people.
In FFXIV noobs call high level people no-life and "what is the point".
At least here, in game i only talk and play with my linkshell so i avoid this type of people in the first place.

edit; going out for dinner, ya all have fun .
