    Yep. Of course you think that a wipe is an effective marketing tool to keep the players playing right?

    Come on, a bit of realism please. Resources are NOT infinite, especially development resources. Redesigning the whole game from the ground up (because this is what getting rid of the armory system would require) would take up the team's whole development resources for months.

    Do you seriously think that they'd go that way, giving up adding content and other features, because a few people can't fathom that there are other effective class systems than wow's and for some reason don't want to just go to play wow?

    Archer should be awesome, correction, it's awesome. Rather then straight up nerfing Multi-Shot, just make every other class equally as fun and enjoyable as the output that Archer can do. Again, not necessarily meaning in damage, but through the class mechanics that their class gives them.

    I'm not sure, and i know you aren't either. I'm just saying that there is a possibility, not matter how small or how large. But the system isn't going to stay the way it is. How much a change is what we still have left to see. I could care less if they shut the servers down for a year then brought the game back out with the same armory system but actually worth a damn. In the end i just want a final fantasy MMO i can enjoy.

    It might be worth altering your PDF in that section to make that clear. The way the original section is worded just sounds like a complaint that isn't very constructive.

    Personally (as someone who plays Archer main), I don't see a great issue with Multi-shot. It makes sense for an Archer to have a special skill that allows them to fire multiple arrows, and it's nice to have a skill that isn't a TP move. Perhaps SE could raise the cost in Guild Marks to make it harder to obtain, but considering other classes can also get some awesome skills in their own way, I think that a slight re-balancing of other classes is a better answer than just "nerfing" Archer - though we all know that past actions have shown the "nerf" is first line in SE's arsenal, with "balancing" second (as someone else has already posted).

    Regarding the PDF in general though, I would like to congratulate you on a well set out and thorough document. It obviously took a lot of time, and if we're lucky, the Dev's will have a read and pay some attention to it, as a lot of what is said is being posted in threads all over the place in here.

    Mind you, you're rather wrong. As I'm sure as hell, and every little bit of experience in marketing I accumulated in my life adds to that security.

    Server wipes or taking away what players grinded up in the first five months after release is a 100% surefire way to empty the servers and bar any kind of future revenue in one fell swoop.

    Not wanting to waste the fruit of past efforts is one of the main factors that keep players playing any MMORPG. Take that away, and the reasons to stay become much, much thinner.

    Unfortunately I have to agree. besides the DR part (I did read, but it was a bit of a pain). Humongous walls of text are normally the perfect way to get developers to focus their attention elsewhere.

What kind of message does it send when you inform new players that they should not be informative and well versed when getting in contact with development? Would you prefer the forums be riddled with posts such as "Hur, I think we need Chocobos, right guys?!" or along those lines? He put in the effort to create a well written (You apparently don't understand what a wall of text IS), informative document that covers almost every potential issue that has been brought up since release. He even went so far as to include pictures to explain some of the suggestions.

    ninja edit add: also i am fine with the armory system as it is now, or it change. I am fine with you can lvl up all class and master all, or you can lvl up all class but can only master 1.

    Master a class will you unique skill or special ability only avaiable for the class as goes for DoW, DoM, DoL and DoH, so you still beable to custom your char and have a unique ability that the other dont have, it isnt a bad idea


    edit p2: also I d like to see chain link skill and ability of knock back, fall down and unconcious.

    exampler for chain skill (pug): 1st press = "left punch", after the skill hit, a new icon will appear and replace the "left punch", 2nd press = "right punch", a new icon will appear and replace the "right punch", 3rd press = "upper cut". if the 1st or the 2nd miss, the chain skill will stop.

    The dmg system can goes like this :
    1st press 150 tp, dmg 150.
    2nd press 250tp, dmg 160
    3rd press 600tp , dmg 250

    so that also mean, you dont need 1k TP to do a full chain, but the dmg become more if you can exercute the full chain.

    Why do we need the chain skill system: the game dont have auto-attack, this chain skill will bring more exiting to sit and use press the button to execute/hit.

    also the knock back, fall down (stumble), unconcious is the common effect of mmo nowday, so its good to have it in this game to follow the flow of mmo while it dont touch the unique concept of the game.

    I d like to inrease the speed of the combat, even in pve term the combat system atm is to slow, the skill execute animation take alot of time, it give you more than enough time to think, there is nothing exiting about that. But that can be because of the network, and also can cause by my slow laptop.

    What kind of message does it send when you put a big block O' text ain't no one gunna read. Devs aren't going to read this kind of stuff. Just like in the closed beta forum.
