Therefore, them being designed in the way that they were had nothing to do with allowing them to become unisex, as they were designed before they were unisex. This argument too, fails. Sigh.
is it tho? and yes it was but was mostly to point out some overall outfit not really answer.

my main point is just instead of asking to genderlock I do rather have better glam overall and glamour dresser like I feel genderlock overall isn't the problem but just lack of option.

also other opinion I have you might agree on that one tho. socking and tights should be like a what the facewear is but for legs

Better glam overall would also be nice. That's not the subject of the thread, but I will for sure agree with that.
It should be much better, more detailed, ideally more fantasy and less modern glams that can all be equipped on whoever regardless of gender.
FFXIV has always been a little...uninspired when it comes to glam making, with males usually getting the shortest end of the stick (probably have what, 30 pairs of the exact same slack pants). but all of this is just my opinions and feelings as well.

If they produced much better looking glams, that would raise the benefits to removing genderlock even more, as instead of just one awesome new outfit, everyone would then have two new awesome outfits to mix and match with. It would be a win win for many players, so I hope to someday see that come true.

you see where I think what should happen is we should have both version female and male but also have a other one what could be a mix of the two instead that would be a good middle ground in my book

I've wanted that for ages. A few other games with outfit options have had socks/tights as a separate piece and it's so much better than having them stuck to the legwear here.

Repetitive slacks is also a general problem with recent glamour sets for both genders. A lot of them are coming with very similar pants, gloves and shoes with little effort to add variations that still suit the outfits.

You don't need a third outfit for that. You just need the masculine and feminine versions freely equippable without getting altered, and let the players mix and match for themselves. That's the whole point of this thread.

the thing is this I am for genderlocking gear I am for it and will not deny it that's why I said the middle ground would be have a third with a feature of both
