Beast tribes and custom deliveries aren’t really enough to be even called casual imo.
One is three quests a day for about 15 min and the other is a few deliveries a week you do in another 15 min.
That is hardly enough to occupy even those who only play a little bit after work.
Sure you can have fun with this all (and fates) and people probably have fun but what have casual players truly gotten outside the A raid until this field zone?
That’s the point I and others are making.
The scales between content has become strangely tilted towards tactical raiding, even in the new field zone instead of raiding where you just jump in like with Delubrum normal, Castrum or Dalriada even though some people might only think of soul crushing hard raiding as true endgame content.
The truth is that everyone wants to have something to do.
Who knows what people ingame think?I'm just saying that outside of the forums, people just do the aforementioned content and seem happy with it contrary to how the OP presents it. I actually do not get the sense players are "exhausted" as described, and my guess for why that is, is because the majority of those exhausted unsubscribed earlier in the last year or before.
Even if many of the exhausted ones have left that is nothing to be happy about because it shows that the game has changed in the wrong direction for them and a game shouldn’t change away from those who played it till now in the first place to a point where they don’t feel like the audience anymore.
While the criticism on the forum and Reddit is not a picture for the overall state of the game, people not coming here also doesn’t mean that they are automatically happy either.
The lack of content for non raiders and the 7.0 story were things I saw people actually discuss in game.
Yes that’s not proof for the bigger picture. Just as a note that some people ingame do take note and have their own opinions on it.
People here in the EU almost always speak english at a high level and as a player from here I have to give my point that Gurgeh’s experiences are purely individual, as are mine. (That’s not an attack on them though). You are in the EU region. There are multiple languages in the EU. As such, voice is difficult, because it requries all the players there to be able to understand what is being said (verbally).
I have had lots of casual chats in OC and other raids ingame.
But that’s enough from me in this thread.
I am still bummed by the Forked tower situation even as someone who doesn’t have a problem with doing hard content because even with Discord I am prevented from doing content…
