I'm starting to wonder if SE should consider some of the ways WoW allowed healers to switch from their pure healer modes to outright DPS monsters. Priest vs. Shadow Priest for example. You pick a mode and your locked for the duration of combat before you can switch.

Ya... don't think SE could handle that on top. I can only imagine the playerbase being even more dissatisfied that they either don't have their full toolkit, have to keep switching, or their co healer refusing to go into heal stance.

I'm sorry, I mean I'm honoured that in 6 years , you've contributed less than 50 posts, and in your 2 than you just added, neither really contributed much to the discussion, did they? I mean in 6 years, I guess you don't seem to have noticed healers much.

It's not over the youtuber though and it's not because of the youtuber that most people here think their role has no value in the majority of content, the youtuber simply put a spotlight on it when the devs were saying they were "making the game harder", so much harder that WAR can still solo dungeons, and that that aspect has only got worse in DT. Surprise, surprise, healers don't like that idea.

Polar opposites? But we could literally get both. Adding more DPS buttons is not mutually exclusive with designing the fights to require more active healing.

Over 6 months and almost 1k pages later, plastered all over social media for a good while, barely anything has been done in terms of healer adjustments or affect queue times and inconveniencing other job mains in DT. I'm in favor of healer improvements, but this "strike" was definitely just all talk since the very beginning. Looking back, it all feels like one big joke that nobody was actually serious about.
