Viper got adjustments at lightning speed so SE is certainly capable of changing things, or at least announcing changes, if they choose to. That they have chosen not to is not a failing on the part of those leaving feedback. It's a failure of SE. One of the many they have made in Dawntrail so far.

Ah you see, they can only act fast if it's to make something easier.Viper got adjustments at lightning speed so SE is certainly capable of changing things, or at least announcing changes, if they choose to. Your join date and post count makes it seem like you've been around here for a long time, but your comment alludes to both naivety and delusion in one sweep.Viper got adjustments at lightning speed so SE is certainly capable of changing things, or at least announcing changes, if they choose to. Nothing major will be changed till 8.0 and that's already been confirmed by Yoshi P. They only do potency bumps and something small like getting rid of positionals mid patches

You may have been here longer but it seems you have not been paying as much attention. Would be nice if healers got a "full reevaluation of actions" at some point, including a "revamped and reintroduced" ability as an extra treat. After a full reevaluation of paladin actions, we have made a number of significant changes to the job in Patch 6.3, addressing issues with their burst damage to improve usability.
After a careful review of paladin actions, several adjustments have been made to address issues with the inconsistency of their burst damage. The following are examples of the aforementioned adjustments:
・The damage over time effects of Goring Blade and Blade of Valor have been removed, making their use less situational.
・The Divine Might effect has been added to weaponskill combos, increasing utility of the ranged attack Holy Spirit.
・Holy Sheltron has been adjusted to reduce damage, thereby enhancing its defensive capabilities against damage over time.
・The previously removed Bulwark ability has been revamped and reintroduced to the job, offering increased defensive capability.

Even if they didn't address healers immediately, I'd guess that they'd revamp every job for 8.0. The job design has not been well received, if even reddit thinks it's stale, then things are very dire. I don't think they can risk an EW style job design for a 3rd expansion in a row.

If glare had it's old cast speed I feel like the dash would have more of an impact.
Though really I don't understand why both WHM and SGE movement tools are both 60 or nearly 60 seconds on CD. They really should be closer to 30 seconds on CD maybe even lower. It really just seems like it's kicking healers when they're down when the other casters get short CD movement tools.
The other night I waited 12 minutes as a tank for a dungeon queue. I was like "What the heck?" Queue times are def being effected by something, it smells of lack of healers.
#FFXIVHEALERSTRIKE

As a new player who first played on Xbox and then switched to PC, I didn’t know that healing had been such an underwhelming role for so long in this game. As a new player who has only played as a healer for about a week or two, I did notice that compared to other games where I have played as a healer, whether in shooters with support/healer classes or other MMORPGs, the implementation of healers in this game feels definitely more boring and lackluster. I'm not sure how long I'll continue playing this game, but I just wanted to provide my perspective given Square Enix's financial problems over the years. I hope they would take player feedback about roles like this seriously, because fewer players means less revenue, and they definitely need the money.

Seriously, who is SE designing for?
For real, though, thank you for your input on this as a newbie. It's great to have a voice from someone who literally just tried healing in XIV and still thinks the design here is lacking.
