It looks like someone cares too much about the movement more than those who are actually participating in it and have been ignored for years.. I wonder why?

That's my entire post history, not limited to just this thread. A lot of the stuff I've said I will stand by. Some of the things in there were intentionally ridiculous because the people I was responding to were equally as ridiculous. If people would like, I will go through each and every one to tell you which I stand by and which were intentionally stupid.

I think this is something we should nip in the bud.

I would appreciate that if you disagree with the thread topic, then you do so in a more polite way and have an open conversation rather than get disrespectful, clown what other people are saying, or argue in bad faith. I don't think it's anyone's responsibility to react to that kind of behavior in as gentle of a way possible when it inevitably happens either(or at all; let's be honest). But taking things to the extreme is neither healthy for discussion, nor the issues we're trying to talk about.

This is not a a kindergarden classroom, but it's not Coral Prison either.

My dude I did come in here trying to be polite at first. It was you all that got disrespectful with me because I disagreed that warrior sustain needed to be nerfed. From the responses I got, you'd think I went and personally slapped all of you in the face. That's when I got disrespectful myself.

I don't think it's productive for us to continue talking about the topic, because it's clear there is no real communication happening and it's a waste of both our time to try. Let's just leave it at that and not interact further.

Not to take sides, but tbf its really not any more obsessive than the person in question attempting to derail and discredit the thread for no other reason beyond what I presume to be "malicious for the sake of being malicious" for the last handful of pages, if not more than that. I think they even admitted to in some post that their goal post is to make the discussion less credible by antagonizing certain individuals and incite them to reacting in some particular way and in turn making the whole strike seem like a joke.

Start reporting them. Force the admins to shut them down.

It is why I didn't respond to them outside of their whole thing acting like the victim, gaslighting at it's prime, too bad it is easy to spot and doesn't work. Just ignore the kid and keep the topic on point which is the healerstrike and why healing sucks and we want the role back, we want to HEAL.

I'm not on any kind of hate train but this is just false. You got into personal territory telling people they should play better. Your initial statements about WAR were fine until you began talking like that. Then it went downhill. I'm not an angel and I too have to avoid saying things that are too personal, so I get it.

To be clear, I'm not saying that means all your posts should be reviewed. I don't really find your trolling in this thread unique and as you said, it's obvious some of your posts are just bs for the sake of it.

This is actually one of the statements I stand by. To me, personally, if the choice is between clearing, or wiping and starting over, I'd rather have the clear. The person in question... I think said both healers died? Which is why I said to play better. Because the tanks wouldn't have had to take over if nobody died in the first place. I think it's good that the tanks are able to do that. So if you're dying because you're not doing mechanics correctly, you need to play better. I've died because I didn't do mechanics correctly. The solution was to play better. Telling someone to play better- in this context- is not meant to be a personal attack, it's meant to be an obvious statement.

Yeah but there's a practical and logical response to this-- nobody wants to wait 20 mins for the WAR fantasy. You acknowledged yourself that it "takes more time" to do. Making it harder to survive without healers is not an attack on tanks or DPS, it has a meaningful function.

Mitigation (on non tank roles) and healing (on non healers) should be balanced appropriately to accommodate for one offs or mild sequences of time, not invincibility. It's not practical for group based content.

Which plays into the fact that tanks are disgustingly overtuned

I’ve had runs of most of the EW trials (usually the first run I did) where the tank wasn’t any better than the other players they just ended up the only one left alive because they take less damage with 7 vuln stacks than I do with none

So I die in two hits and have low margin for error, the tank physically can’t be killed then gets to solo the boss and call us all bad despite getting hit enough they would have died on any other role besides tank

The tanks are just too overtuned in every facet right now
