I don't know why people argue they don't want to be a green dps... you already are one.

If you are playing correctly and not greifing your team, you are spending 70% of your gcds on damage.

They aren't going to retroactively make all the fights about healing output nor are they going to change future content significantly enough to cause a gameplay shift. It's better to think about how to improve the current gameplay then ask for changes that SE has no precedence for making.

I'm not touching healer for DT in any content except maybe trusts.

The healer strike is not because of a DT dungeon being completed without healers. This was happening in EW. Its because of a multitude of things:

• Lack of changes going into DT for healers (still boring 111111 spam; a proc after a 2 minute recast timer buff does not change that)
• Increased tank sustain that they didn't need because again, THIS HAPPENED IN EW. WHY is it being made WORSE?
• Unwanted changes to the classes in the upcoming expac (Seraphism, AST card changes)
• The dev team's apparent unwillingness to change or even listen to feed back

We're striking because we're still being ignored.

I'm late to the party but seriously, why do people make it such a big deal ? Healers have a right to have fun as much as every person paying a sub. They are not happy with their jobs so they play something else until something is done.

For all I know, everybody is playing their job for their own sake so why are so many people mad that healers want to do the same ? The question is obviously semi-rethorical : they don't want their queues to be even longer but can't be bothered to play healer themselves and I wonder why.

They can throw as many bad faith arguments they want, we all know this is the thing that is bothering them but they can't admit it and find excuses because they know deep down it's insane to force someone who is paying for a service to do something they do not enjoy.

Not sure if you know what a strike is. It's an agreement by a group of people w/ common goal to refrain from doing some kind of action expected of them (healers, healing, etc). I've seen complaints about healing in this game for years. The people who play this game fund the salaries of Square Enix staff, they're entitled to say their piece even if you think it's whiny. Yoshi P reads the top 10 forum threads daily.
