Really?I want everyone to have fun and get the content they'd like to play. I am not the one who is being self righteous over here. This game is meant to offer an experience that encompasses more then XI did. This will never, ever change. If it did you best be prepared for what that means, and what it means isn't what you want either.

I'm telling you go back to the game you prefer and stop trying to shape another one into something it is not. I'm not trying to change anything at all, I'm content to let the developers do what they can to save themselves and bring the game to what it was intended to be according to Square Enix and failed to meet.

Just because you feel as if your playstyle is in danger to those with more vocal demands, does not mean the solution is to tell those people to stop sharing this game with you. This is supposed to be an experience that MANY dynamics can enjoy, not just one. And their feedback can often be good feedback, so long as it does not narrow the accessibility of the content based purely on skill and difficulty.
There's no need to attack those who want a challenge - it just needs to be made clear that challenge forced upon players is a bad idea.
People who are not confident in their skills or not wanting to strain themselves in games often will pick the lower difficulties. But those who complete at lower difficulties and desire a challenge after their initial complement will often go back to try the higher difficulties and test their skill. The harder fights are still done, but the frustration level is a lot less because the person CHOSE that difficulty, they knew what they were getting into. This gives the feel of accomplishment without the feel of imposition, AND it gives the game more re-playability to be able to go back and visit past fights at higher difficulties.
This can be done both with story fights and any instance. It really is a win-win-win for Casual, Hardcore and the Developers.
These kinds of fights are the EASIEST types to balance for variable playstyles, I don't see what the argument is here.
