The fact that you're clearly ignorant of my earlier posts in this thread, thanking the organizers for all the faster Q-pops I'm going to enjoy on my six EoC SGE scabs, doesn't intrigue me at all. It just tells me you like to make stuff up and post it with no regard to whether it's true.
But I'll throw you a bone: search for "#FFXIVHEALERSCAB" and educate yourself.

Not as big as the slap currently on yours, bless your heart.

Well, facts are facts. I know many consider Official Forum a place "full of mental people who spend their days exercising in doomposting", but FFXIV Reddit is no way better in any way. It is a place full of white knights who protect their multi-billionaire gaming company from any criticism as it can threaten their Limsa Lominsa Standing Simulator XIV.

It's not even that out of place. I mean Y'shtola has quit healing and became a Black Mage in Shadowbringers.

And now Krile will quit healing and becomes Pictomancer.

Not even the FFXIV main cast wants to deal with healing anymore.

It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.

If they weren't ready for that, wouldn't they pick a DPS? (they could pick a tank but almost every new player seems to have anxiety with tanking)

And also my experience, as a tank, is that no sprout healer has struggled to heal my big pulls prior to us having these execessive tank heals.

And big pulls aren't even required - that's why single pulls exist, for people who want low stress.
Agreed, if someone picks up healer and is expecting not to heal then they picked the wrong job.

I do undestand tanxiety because I had it as well for a very long time. It stemmed from getting harrassed in other MMOs when I tried to learn tank. I would constantly get yelled at for not pulling a lot in my first ever dungeon, which put me off tanking for a long while. In XIV I quickly learned that I can take two packs minimum with zero issue and the anxiety went away.

It's crazy how bad this forum is. If you only ever would read in here for feedback about the game, you would think it would be dying every second now.

Not the first time I've heard this and it always gives me pause because it's never been true in my experience. Tank players tend to be super chill and most healer mains I have met have been super nice. It's the sweaty parser DPS mains who tend to have massive egos, imo.

Big pulls in low level dungeons LOOK scary, but if you don't panic and actually cast a Cure or two, you will soon see that one cast gives the tank half their HP back (more if your gear is better). Though tanks checking if their healer is a clueless newbie and communicating with them would definitely be nice. I do it and it's been working well. Either "do you want me to start slow" and "you can pull big if you like, I can keep up" depending on what I'm playing.

The only times where big pulls have been a problem for me have been Bardam's Mettle and Holminster Switch with tanks in MSQ gear who didn't know where their Rampart button was. Bardam's Mettle in general seems to be a "are you pressing your buttons" check for tanks and a lot of them fail it. Funnily enough, they tend to be Warriors.
