Healers should feel like they have a place in all forms of content. It is understandable that difficulty can't be so great as to bar progression of story-based content. However, innovative means should still be employed to make greater/full use of abilities.

I have to pull you up on this because I have a feeling that you haven't done all forms of content because this general dissatisfaction does not exactly fit the bill in Savage, Savage Criterion and Ultimate content. Unless you are playing in the most optimal setting (most aren't) and are overgeared for the content (applies to Savage, at which point it's not about job design it's about ilvl bruteforcing) then you are straining your cohealer because they are for sure doing GCD healing which you yourself seem to prefer.

Healers do have a place in all forms of content. Warriors being able to heal a dungeon is an outlier and it's not the preferred way of doing it for everyone. If the TOP group clearing without a healer is going to be used as an example then why is anyone still playing healer? Because it's more optimal in every situation.

That's a valid point, but I can ask the same what's the point of cars if we have trains/planes? But the issue goes way deeper than just "ultimate cleared without healers". Refer to this thread for a summary of healer issues.

How is using Usain Bolt and a car as an analogy better? Are you saying healers are Usain Bolt but every other role is a car because they're faster? I fail to understand that. If you have nothing constructive to say, at least have the decency to read the thread I linked earlier so you might actually have an understanding what's going on.

I just asked you to elaborate on what you meant lol. Why are you lashing out? I'm well-aware of the complaints healers have with the game and the general dissatisfaction, but I don't agree with it myself. "Change this role, we're boycotting!" If you want an echo chamber then please let us know in the very beginning. I truly don't want my role changed because people who have never done the hardest content want to change the job for everyone.

I started playing at the end of Shadowbringers (.55 or .58 patch, I'm not exactly sure) but I've done the final savage tier savage tier of SHB (I'll say it wasn't real experience though, I was bad and I had echo) and I've been heal maining since then, not missing out on any content at all. I don't know how it was in the expansions before exactly so I will not try to invalidate any of that. I enjoy playing all healers apart from Scholar which I just find boring as a job.
