    id definitely like healing to be better..

    i dont personally mind classes like red mage and dancer getting healing and support actions, but it does seem unneeded on most classes when healing is already almost unneeded in general outside of large pulls and damage taken from failing mechanics (though i do understand most classes get healing stuff as just a self-preservation thing in non-group content)

    ideally id love for, at least in trial and non-savage raid content, things to consistently deal damage to the point that i feel the need to heal as a healer.. i think the healing in storm's crown (extreme) is about what id like to see be the norm for trials and non-savage raid stuffs, if not even more punishing.
    its either that or give healers proper dps rotations and stuff so we have something to do other than press the same attack button over and over while the dungeon boss does practically no damage..

    also on a more positive note, im happy they changed how ast cards work to be more unique again! i do miss giving black mages the big speed buffs of old but this is still nice!

    Fwiw there's precedent in stuff like this actually working before. Bowmage also had similar threads in HW and there were a few about wonky balance for 3.0 DRG/AST and 4.0 BLM.
    And you guys are getting more traction than those did and maybe can have some reach on social media. Keep up the good fight, healers. Maybe it doesn't solve anything, but maybe it does!

    I did as fun joke with some friends that are decent low lvl 3 dps 1 tank runs (war ofc). Like we had a lvl 70 dungeon and holmister switch as lvl dungeon and 50/60/70/80 dungeon. Holmister was scary at some specific points but still possible. Like if we can do these harder hitting dungeons were the war had less sustain even without a big problem lvl from 80-90 and 90-100 with 3 dps and 1 tank will be pretty possible when even the first dungeon in das trail is a joke.

    I actually don't mind the other jobs' sustain, mit, and shields. They are group mechanics and are forms of "soft" rdps. My main gripes are that healer kits are overbloated with abilities that aren't needed for 99% of content. If a larger portion of the kit was focused elsewhere and we were kept off the monotony I'd be much more happy.

    WAR should do less damage than any of the healers if the whole point of its insanely high healing is to give more space to healers to deal more damage.

    I'm not sure why the developers think the actions bars of healers have be filled to almost overflowing in order for healing to be fun. Where did that idea arise? I never read any suggestion about it.

    That's the very reason I left WoW after 8(?) years. I could not justify giving my money to a company whom I felt was actively hostile to its players.

    As a sage main, Same. I won't be healing as a healer, or playing as one.
    Healers are a huge joke right now, who needs them when tanks can heal themselves?

    Tanks having lots of health or mitigations to tank? No, just give them self-healing abilities. Not even yellow shields to mitigate damage, just unbalanced heals. How unbalanced you might be thinking? Enough to quite literally beat the hardest content in the game without a healer in the party. Yeah--No. That's not right.

    Until they help healers, people are going to have to suffer those long, looong queue times looking for a healer. (Not that they would need one anyway).
