To prove a point not long ago I solo’d Akademia Anyder as Sage synched and cleared. It took way too long because one Sage in a dungeon designed for 4 can only do so much damage, but still had like 15 minutes to spare, and I even died once. Ironically, that is the only instance of content where Toxikon was actually useful, since I needed to barrier myself so much to survive trash packs. The bosses hit like wet noodles though. I could even eat unmitigated tankbusters. Shockingly, the second boss has an untelegraphed instant double tankbuster that scared me, and I lived on a small amount of HP from that several times.

As amazing as your clarity of mind can be, I afraid we need some change in plan regarding how healer strike goes, due to the how we failed to garner any support from FFXIV sub, and they are not inclined to participate the strike, hell some of em even outright mocked us for it.

I was just in VC with a friendo and rambling about this earlier. We were (half) joking about wanting to create or join All Healer-PFs at least for MSQ dungeon/trial progression just because it'd be a nice gesture to refuse being a part of community service that is helping DF queue popping lmao.

You've not been here for long if you expect the mainsub to join on anything gameplay-related. That forum has been the face of the "toxic casualism" of the community for a long time

I do wonder if it would be a good idea to have a few suggestions to WHAT you want changed added to the main post. More raid/party wide damage that HAS to be healed? Nerfs to tanks? Healers with more than one damage regular damage spell? etc.

That said, just saying "SE, we're not happy with healing now" can be enough sometimes, especially if queue times for regular content become much higher.

This "strike" wouldn't be a thing (or, at least, would have been less likely to be a thing) if SE had both paid attention to the Healer Forums and made some effort to communicate back their sense of what players were trying to say.

Those questions have been answered, many, many times over. The details change from moment to moment, but the same broad sentiments keep coming up, over and over again.

I'd even switch to healer to join a healer-only PF and move healers out of the duty finder queues.
I'd try to do the same with tanks, but I'm under no illusion that too many people enjoy the gameplay equivalent of watching paint dry, that is current tank design, for it to have any effect.

Who said that? We want the treatment of actually being useful...we are literally none of those things right now given our role has been removed since the other roles can handle it over us. If anything, at the moment, we are the complete opposite of that; and that needs changing...

It's the most common tactic here on the forums.

It has a pretty high success rate because a lot of people want to correct misinformation. Can't fault them for that, but it also gives trolls/pot stirrers a lot of power.

Edit: Boy, my point got proven almost immediately, meet exhibit A below, makes a caricature out of an argument and then mocks said caricature.
