That is why cloud servers could solve this problem. Cloud servers can scale, by adding as many virtual machines as they need to hold as many ward servers as they need. If they move everything over to a cloud server, they can build into their code to scale the wards and hopefully adjust the UI to reflect the dynamic number of wards a world has.

Seeing how successful the cloud test was, how the ping was improved and how many people want housing to be better, it feels like this is something SE should go for, or at least make entering wards switch to a cloud server using DC travel where they can have unlimited wards.

I agree with Crystarium Housing. It would be great. I'd love Il Mheg housing too. Lalafells might like Kholusia housing but I doubt there is heightened demand for that.

Ala Mhigo and Garlemald restoration would be good, but I would also like to see a restoration to Yanxia. Not Doma. Yanxia. Just something that I can see that players earlier in the MSQ can't, such as removal of rubble in the northern area of Yanxia.
Your whole argument just went out the window when you opened that it was easy. If it were really that easy they would have done it! The issue is priority on the instances, and how much data it is using. We know housing wards, island sanctuary, and other places basically hog other instances data. We've seen this at the beginning of major patches, and expansions where you can't even get into your own islands, or or instanced rooms. It is NOT an easy task to remedy this, so what we should be pursuing is to push SE to upgrade their datacenters, and servers to allow for a large addition to housing space, and new wards. This WILL take time. The server shortages didn't end during Covid. They are still strained and very real even in 2024. To order servers basically takes months to years for this kind of a situation.

I suggest you research Taiwan, and its current political state of affairs, but also how the world is dealing with slowly creating their own factories. Until you understand that, as well as how FFXIV instances work, you do not know the true gravity of the situation.
