I was informing people in various linkshells and Novice Network of ward/plot numbers that had 0 bids. There were dozens. I think maybe 1 person came and bid in the last 3 hours after I was trying to get the word out that "if you want a house, get a house." After the 2nd lottery ended, I server jumped to other primal servers and looked around... most servers still had unpurchased plots in the new non-FC wards.

I think the shortage is mostly on mediums and larges but not so much on housing in general. I think expecting to double housing is probably not necessary.
I've seen plots with no bids on Aether worlds fairly recently.

People complain about having no houses, but they don't just want any house. No... It has to be at least a medium, and it has to be in a fancy spot...
