I understand that there are many players who like the wards, and you are one of them.

There's no reason why this would have to be an either/or situation. Wards can remain for those who want ward houses. Players who would prefer the instanced housing could use that instead. It has the potential to open up more plots for those players who are only interested in the wards.

As for having a big interest in housing, I do and I would take RIFT Dimensions (which were fully instanced) over a ward house instantly if Dimensions were added to this game.

Then go play any of the thousands of other MMOs that already have instanced housing. I literally only play the game because in-game housing neighborhoods are amazing and extremely rare in a game like this and I will fight for additional resources for housing in a direction that benefits why I am here to begin with. A lot of us don't want instanced housing. We want more resources dedicated to neighborhood housing instead of half-allocated resources to two different half-baked ideas. Neighborhood unique yay! Instanced bland booo!

Thank you for your incredibly insightful suggestion, but I'd much rather prefer to play games I want to play. Improvements in housing as suggested in my opinion would be a great boon and very fun thing to have around but not something I lose my sleep over with.

It's an improvement to you and the minuscule part of the community that wants instanced housing.

The system we have is fine, it just needs more wards, dynamic wards would be the optimal way to do this.

I will repeat again, if you want instanced housing so much, you can have it in a different game, FFXIV has ward housing not instanced and that's just the way it is and is going to be in the future, the devs are very satisfied with how housing works in this game, and yes that includes the scarcity, they don't want housing to be apartments 2.0.

If you want a miserable experience with a house alone in the middle of nowhere with pregenerated scenery and houses, have at it in other games.

We already have 1 system that needs improvement, we don't need 2.
