Honestly, this is a misconception that's been around since the year dot.

I'm fortunate enough to have been in a stable consistent static that's been around since Midas and was also a part of Angered and Entropy, creators of bad memes and holders of multiple world firsts. You can confirm this by comparing the roster for my first Brute Justice clear to my last Agdistis upload before we all went on hiatus together.

Now compare that to just about any of my first Extremes, I'm usually too lazy to do them day one but I'm somewhat confident I've got a few week 1s in there somewhere. I suspect all of them are usually Rozaria and myself PFing, sometimes dragging another static or FC member or two along if they fancied it but even that was far from the norm. It was the same before in Exordium and even the ultra coordinated Solitude wasn't that different for the most part. For many it's a case of doing your raid stuff together and then you may well take a break from each other for the casual stuff.

Sure you will see some groups that will do everything together but I'd wager that when it comes to Extremes, even the most dedicated teams will have at least a member or two that will rapidly dip out for Primals leaving at least a few PF slots here and there.

As a card carrying Entropy member, I can assure you first hand that your assumption here is baseless. Likely you don't realise when you get world level players in your PF because frankly, few will bother speaking up or offering advice even if requested thanks to how hostile some can be towards this to the extent of risking a temp ban over a report.

Blocking people without a clear from reclears absolutely isn't a high end player specific thing, that's a community in general thing. People just don't want to 'waste' time, IMHO it's one of the drawbacks of having such a vast and largely anonymous pool of players within PF. Back in the days when the pond was much smaller, you'd generally have a good idea of what to expect from a large number of your peers so would be more willing to take on someone without a clear if you had done content with them before and could be confident that they wouldn't drag the group down. Again, that's not an evil raiders thing.

As for tips to making the first primal extreme clear go better, my best tip would be to offer discord voice even if they don't want to talk, get people involved and get them engaged for the clear. I've done that for many a blind clear with randos before the Happy Strats etc were out there and it's been plenty good enough to do modern Extremes.
