    Alright, who's the troll who necro'd an old post from 2017 -- oh, it's actually the OP, lol. Welcome back! Glad you and your girlfriend are enjoying the game together.

    Stormblood is being added to the free trial as well, I believe when the new expansion drops (someone correct me if I'm wrong about the timing). That'll be a while from now, but you have a lot of game to get through in the meantime.

    Do you know about the New Game Plus feature? Basically, it lets you replay all the story quests. You could use it to follow along with what your GF is doing at the same time and get a refresher on the story, rather than just watch her character model stand still in a cutscene.
