You're talking about the "expert" roulette, and it only contains the 2 latest and relatively easy dungeon.

Ok my mistake, I'm tired and just came off a graveyard shift and only had ex roulette in my head lol. It is only the 2 latest dungeons doesn't matter how hard ppl find them they are still a high ilvl requirement.

They should come out with a raids roulette to cover raid content and with a tombs reward will get ppl running the old raids. As for the ex primals they should almost get covered in the trials roulette because they are still a trial.

Raid Finder is a simplistic version of Party Finder with lock features. If SE just allowed duties to be ran in duty finder, players can have practice and not be suffering from the "I'm late to the party" syndrome most of us who play other games get.

When the patch dropped, i hopped right on and got as much practice with Zurvan as I could, because I knew that when the week was over all I would see after is farm parties and no one willing to help out a newbie. If we had it in duty finder, regardless if we never clear, we'd still get practice. Tell me I'm wrong, because its exactly how i got practice during Titan EX back then.

The thing is, this "lock feature" is actually what makes the Raid Finder worthwile. Without it, people would still not use the Duty Findet to tackle new content, they'd only go to the Party Finder...with silly requirements.

Besides, if we're talking really "late to the party", like "I want to clear Second Coil Savage for the first time 6 months before Stormblood" the duties are in the Duty Finder. But there's no incentive of doing them for veteran players...

That's why I suggested a bonus for "returning" to a duty. If you want to farm tomestones, you'll only do the fastest way, sure. But if every duty has a one time bonus after a month-old clear, then the fastest way will shift constantly until you run out of bonuses.

Extreme roulette would be a very bad idea.. u think df is bad now? the level of toxicity in Moogle EX, Ramuh EX, T5, T7, T9, T11 coil at lv 50 would be outrageous.

Or players could just stop accepting that toxic players are a fact of life and start excluding them and reporting them. Communities can weed out bad behavior. Happened all the time in older mmos. I think roulettes for all the content would be a great idea to get people into it.

its not a matter of weeding out the toxic players. you are talking about half the community here. NO JOKE either. i dont like it either but ive learned to accept it and exclude most if not all of DF from my playtime. I make my PFs and im rather blunt honest about people who dont belong in a farm party or douches ragging on people in learning parties.

Most of my DF parties are quite fun and nice. I don't run into nearly as many toxic players in FfXIV that I found in some other games. Party finder is usually where I run into the toxic behavior.

I'm neutral here.

I want to learn A12S, but the PF never fill up. The learning parties I see want people with x amount of experience, or the role I can play as it filled.

A12S will eventually be A4S to me; I'll complete it when it can be face-rolled.
