The fact of the matter is that no one can create content that lasts longer than it takes to develop it, unless maybe you design a limited currency that takes a few hours to generate and you must generate the max amount every day to be able to acquire gear you need to progress further, but that is a very undesirable system that ends up with a lot of player burnout. In the end this is more of a casual game and has made no attempt to persuade people otherwise, so I'm not sure why people seem to expect something from it that will consume every minute of their time.
