I'm gonna be honest about Hrothgar

I thought about switching from a Miqo'te to a Hrothgar, and I almost could deal with the loss of the great Miqo'te animations and emotes.

However, when I went on to create a new character just to see what I can make, it was depressing. You have a grand total of 1 face that doesn't look weird, and maybe 3 hairstyles that look rather okay-ish.

Hair colour is tied to fur colour and fur colour is tied to chosen clan, so if you wanted a certain colour of hair, screw you for choosing the clan you chose! It's like if you were to take miqo'te hair colours and separate them in a way that you only get bright hair colours for moon seekers and dark hair colours for sun seekers.

And this one might just be a personal preference issue, but I find the lack of body customization across all races rather absurd. I like the big cats, but imo they feel too big and bulky, and the fact that I can't tone down the bulkiness is painful.

Bottom line is that Hrothgar character customization is genuinely depressing. Small wonder there aren't many Hroth players. Smaller still that they all look nearly identical.

Idk man, I wanna play a Hroth, but they just lack so much.

I mean, it's not outlandish to desire some level of body customization. Like just have varying levels of bulkiness so you could customize it to be a little less.. bulky.

I like playing beast races, and I can almost deal with the bulkiness even tho I still believe we should be able to customize our characters with a bit more depth, but it's the overall appaling lack of customization that's really holding me back as I stated in the post.

Which makes me wonder... If we flood the boards for years asking for a cute furry race, will be finally get a tiny race alternative that isn't a demonic potato with teeth?

I mean I just want a regular sized furry race lol.
Preferrably I think it'd be beneficial overall if we could chstomize our characters' body types and sizes. In the case of Hrothgar, it would at least give more uniqueness. Hrothgar in general need to see a lot more love from the dev team because like I said, they have practically no customization, which is just sad...

There are TOOONNSSSS of Fantastic looking Hrothgar running around.
And on my Server more then one face or Hairstyle is used.
Im not a PC player, otherwise Id probably have alot of Screenshots I could share of some of the neat and awesome Hrothgar people made. Even back when we had even more limited options then we do now.
Trust me, the CC used to be WAY worse.

But yes, Many Hrothgar Players would like to see more and better options for our Race, Im still of the hope that they are adding more and maybe some much needed fixes.
The Body Customization...sorry thats not gonna happen. But like RitsukoSonoda above said, maybe we could advocate hard enough to get another Beast Race, maybe one more slim, and then a Small one. Id be all for that to give us more Option then "Human #9"

But....idk if you can afford to, id say just give it a shot. Who knows, you might enjoy it despite the bulkiness.

If we're going to harp on some of customization limitation of Hrothgar, can we also toss in the really terrible posture, which causes clipping issues that otherwise wouldn't exist, on to the list

Yeah it feels like unfinished abandoned race... no haircuts, no helmets.. no face customizations... dude how can someone release this and call this a race.

They are working on customization revamp already...

There is no customization revamp.
The graphical rework is all about improving textures, lighting and shaders, they never talked about adding more options to the character creator, as it's a completely different subject.
Character creation options seem to be mostly limited by the backend (there is an upper limit to how much data they can store for each character, and unless they allocate more space for everyone, you wouldn't be able to add new options to Hrothgar like muscle slider or dissociate fur color from hairstyles.) The graphical rework, however, is client-side.
