But sadly that mentality has changed. Everyone is all "get to the top, do nothing". People don't enjoy the journey anymore, and that's sad. I'd be seriously sad if i had every job at 50. I'm already sad that I have them all at 20.

Well actually you can blame Yoshi-p for this.

As much as I prefer him to Tanaka, his stance of power levelling and easy leveling in general is not a good one, that being said he doesn't plan to keep the same ease of levelling in 2.0.

What we are playing now is not a good indication to what to expect in 2.0, in any respect really including hard/time sink content.

Becuase of the PS3's limitations, and even with the new engine, load zones will probably return so enviroments can be more detailed. THose laod zones will come in handy for the hunt/be hunted moments.

Even with zoned area's I don't see monsters chasing you relentlessly, although saying that currently many leve monster will chase you to the ends of a zone. (of course you fail the leve if you leave a zone though lol)
