This. But I feel like if they did implement a seperate premade group queue it would be completely dead. and everyone would still be doing casual/ranked CC solo. Perhaps a new PvP arena style mode for 2-3 people?I think team queue should be a separate thing from casual if you're going to implement it. While I'm not going to be as blunt as the posters above about it, I rather like that for the most part 'everyone' has to make do with the lot they're given in casual.
Sure, the random factor can be an issue on its own, but I personally dont feel like I'm robbed of a match due to the random circumstances of the other team, even if they have a technically 'superior' composition. I've played enough matches with all kinds of compositions and the results usually speak with the skilled players who try their best and play to what strengths they have in casual.
If you introduce premades as a feature, even with two or more people, things can get significantly more curb stompy against solo queuers. I've done queues where I'm matched up with my friends, and the advantage of coordinating over voice call can be very punishing for the other team who can't even communicate beyond the very limited preset callouts-- it's very obvious to me when the other team has friends queued up together. Jumping key targets and peeling for your teammates goes like clockwork and random teams, unless they are very individually skilled, usually can't compete.
