I don't hate Bozja or Eureka. I never tried them while they were current. But getting tomestones to spend on the relic for doing content that is assumed you are likely doing already (rouletes) doesn't seem like such a bad idea.

Response: Why do you care who gets what gear? " As "non raider"..is this supposed to be another meme on who gets to give an opinion? Ive done a load of gear upgrades prev, but I dont worry myself about what gear others have. The question is when was the last time you cared as a non raider about gear upgrades other than the tomestone gear?
Maybe you should do the same.
As someone who absolutely hates both Eureka and Bozja, I'm very happy with the current relic steps for EW. Could they be more involved? Sure, do I need them to be? No. I'm very happy with a passive relic especially considering it in no way locks you out of the rest of the game like Eureka and Bozja did. If you want some other more involved steps, I'm fine with that, but only if it doesn't lock you away from other activities while doing them. Making the relics tied entirely (currently) to tomestones is imo a great thing. It's future proofed, which is extremely important imo, and rewards you for doing pretty much any EW related activity and will become an even wider range of activities come 7.0 when it's converted to poetics. All this rage I fail to understand.
What are you even talking about?
All I want is a reason to care about gearing when you are not a savage raider.
Right now there are only 2 gearing paths: Expert Roulette and Savage Raid. Nothing in between. Well maybe a free relic weapon. Did you know that you can get a weapon in Eureka Orthos? But really who cares about that?
It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
Its more the overall expansion. As someone who absolutely hates both Eureka and Bozja, I'm very happy with the current relic steps for EW. Could they be more involved? Sure, do I need them to be? The content people are used to getting was cut, and the content drought is really kicking in.
All of this could have been avoided by simply giving players an activity to work towards, previously this was just relic content.
It's not hard, but it's something to keep you busy between the dead patches of the game.
That 'content' has just been replaced by 'run the same shit you have been for the last year and a half', while the content added this expansion remains abandoned on release because they can't get two braincells to rub together to use that content for relic steps.
Don't forget that you can also just run normal raids and buy a 620 weapon, that upgrades to a 630 weapon in the odd.5 patch. What are you even talking about?

To a casual player there isn't any difference between a tome 630 and a relic 630.
Then you already know the very obvious but for some reason hated answer on the forums. Its more the overall expansion.

Take. A. Break.
The same answer every single shill and troll on the forum responds with.
Square Enix is not an indie company, they have the resources to do better, and never will so long as people cough up the same stupid comment every time. 'JuSt Go PlAy SoMeThInG ElSe'.
The casual players are not going to quit if the game gets more content, but the opposite will happen if the game gets no content.
I don't think it's a resource thing tbh.The same answer every single shill and troll on the forum responds with.

I just don't think their design vision caters to people who want to be able to play non-stop.
Can they make more content? Probably.
Will they? Probably not, I don't think that's the game they want to make.
The simple part that a lot of the posters here don't realize, is long lasting content does not have to be hard content.
It just has to be something that keeps players engaged with the game.
Nobody is saying lock Relics behind savage, they are just asking for 'something' that isn't the same boring daily grind they have been on for well over a year now.
I've always had the mindset that relics were there to not be the greatest weapon, but more of a trophy for putting in the effort to complete the content that came with it.
But with the current direction, that trophy has just become something of spite, due to the lack of care the developers have shown towards the content released this expansion.
The saving grace for this expansion for me personally, were the gathering relics (and hopefully the future steps of them). It asked you to complete some basic objectives, that were not hard, it just required a time sink, which is basically what all relics were.
Those small grinds to achieve the relic filled in the gaps nicely between roulettes and raids, and other content in the game. It was just something laid back, that rewarded you for your time.
