I don't think it's a resource thing tbh.
I just don't think their design vision caters to people who want to be able to play non-stop.

Can they make more content? Probably.
Will they? Probably not, I don't think that's the game they want to make.

The simple part that a lot of the posters here don't realize, is long lasting content does not have to be hard content.
It just has to be something that keeps players engaged with the game.

Nobody is saying lock Relics behind savage, they are just asking for 'something' that isn't the same boring daily grind they have been on for well over a year now.

I've always had the mindset that relics were there to not be the greatest weapon, but more of a trophy for putting in the effort to complete the content that came with it.
But with the current direction, that trophy has just become something of spite, due to the lack of care the developers have shown towards the content released this expansion.

The saving grace for this expansion for me personally, were the gathering relics (and hopefully the future steps of them). It asked you to complete some basic objectives, that were not hard, it just required a time sink, which is basically what all relics were.
Those small grinds to achieve the relic filled in the gaps nicely between roulettes and raids, and other content in the game. It was just something laid back, that rewarded you for your time.

I'm not sure if this was a response to my post, or if you just used it as a jumping off point to talk about something, but I don't think long lasting content has to be hard either.

What I'm saying is that I don't think the design direction for this game includes much long form content.

IMO, their long form content for this expansion was Island Sanctuary, so since they already had one, they didn't want to put in another in the form of a big relic grind.

If you think that everyone who says that is a troll or a shill then you're just delusional. There's nothing wrong with stopping. There's nothing wrong with taking a break, especially when the game isn't fun for you. I swear some people seem allergic to the concept.

Content done in 1 week ? just take a break for 3 and a half month or more until the next patch

What a great way to do content, and if you arent happy, you are at fault for not taking a break and wanting to do actual content in the game, great thinking there

You will do anything to put words in people's mouths that they never actually said won't you? Taking a break is not a defense of the company, it's just what you do when the game isn't fun. Something I think quite a few people should consider doing a bit more often with this game. That includes having "no content" or the release of content you don't enjoy. If you're not having fun, then why are you playing? I don't know how to make it more straight forward then that.

You think "take a break" is saying the game can't get better? I think playing the game while it isn't fun for you is saying the game can't get better. Submit feedback or requests all you want. When Eureka and Bozja came out, I submitted negative feedback about them and stopped playing. I didn't renew my sub till there was something I wanted to do.
