awww, Yoshi-p lied? dream shattered for you? rake him over the coals! drag him to the spanish inquisition!
people say they complain because they still care, but sometimes should just enjoy what you're given. there are plenty of other things to do.
So we shouldn't hold the lead developer of the game responsible for literally lying to us? You're just being asinine and argumentative now. People are allowed to criticize Yoshi and SE, he's even encouraged it himself.
The key words here are the ones I've placed in bold.Yoshi claimed XVI development would not affect XIV in any way and it's very clear this was a lie or at the very least a false prediction on his part.
...
I know Yoshi has also said to take breaks and play other games and I do this VERY liberally, but it really isn't fun to come back to the game for a content patch expecting to have fun and I'm done with all I care to do after just a handful of hours.
Accusing the Producer with lying is a stretch of imagination. What has actually happened is that the content produced this expansion is content OP doesn't care about.
It has certainly taken me more than 1-4 hours to complete everything I care to do ... sorry to hear OP is not engaged beyond that amount of time.
he's a corpo, ofc he lied.
"Just don't play the content and it will last you forever!"
lmao
That's why we still have ward housing after all these years despite the poor souls still hoping for instanced housing. It's the primary method for retaining subscribers.
Adding wards in small doses hits the balance where more and more people gain houses and are forced to maintain their subscription but where there aren't too many empty plots and the FOMO is still present. If there were 5000 empty plots people wouldn't worry about taking a break until the next expansion, but when there are only 50 plots left on your server... you want to hold on to what you have.
