No it doesn't and pressing the issue with others leading to what you want to hear doesn't change this, its clear you don't like it... so just don't use it. No matter how hard you try, you cannot attribute all the 'problems' you face to this 1 item, it is simply a high wooden chair so you are at some kind of eye level with the rest of us. That's it.

Anyone that would be calling it a 'kids chair' would have called you a kid regardless and you harping on about it, trying to get others to see it as a kids chair is showing these people live rent free in your head and that you can only see this chair as a kids chair yourself.
The reason people associate lalafel with being child-like isn't because they are short, it isn't because they have a high chair, it's because their mannerisms in emotes and other movements is childlike. You will never escape that because it is what lalafels are and the only reference we have to these mannerisms in the real world... is children.

If you took a person in a vacuum, have them not play lala, put them on the path through the MSQ and then ask them what they thought of lalafels by the end, it's likely they will just think of them as short people like gnomes or whatever.
Once you put that same person into an environment where players are displaying lalafels emotes and mannerisms that are built into the game they will likely think of them more childlike, then you have them running around acting like grumpy kids if they don't get 'headpats', 'sweets' or sitting on laps and the general consensus becomes "lala's are like children".

So you either move on, don't use the chair, ignore the people calling you a kid. Or you dream up that this chair is the final straw.

It's just a chair
