It doesn't need to be changed at all, look at it from this angle: Some out-of-touch non-Lalafell carpenter out there decided to try making a profit by making Lalafell furniture while having no idea about Lalafells, it's supposed to be a joke, a very lore-accurate joke.

Full disclaimer, this isn't meant to be a personal attack, but genuine advice regarding something I'm worried about. I've noticed some FFXIV fans are a bit TOO invested in the game, to the point where a joke about their in-game character gets treated as equivalent to being made fun of IRL. Getting invested in fiction is great, and as someone working on a game myself, I'd love for my players to be able to engage with the world I'm writing. That said, it's still important to maintain some degree of separation. If you don't, you'll wind up getting hurt by stuff that's only meant to be at the expense of the characters on the screen. If stuff like this hurts you that much, maybe you should take a break from the game for a while. Remind yourself that you don't actually live in Eorzea, and that FFXIV problems aren't YOUR problems.
