You could just copy and paste it from the chat log. it was more of a theoretical example than a practical one.I'm busy ATM or I would myself, I seem to remember that file not even being readable unless you have a program to transcribe it. I could be mistaken thou it has been a very long time, guess square is gana provide us with it or do I need a non endorsed program they do not provide? You know since the file itself id home grown
How junked up that copy paste would be with 8 player +boss + environmental chat etc. I was more lol'n how a transcriber tool that does all that in an instant was bad vrs 40 hours sifting throu one encounter for one that will have numerous errors in it, that technically he couldn't use anything but his head cuz pen and paper and calculator are 3rd party tools.
That file was made to be transcribed by software
Also, all those twitch streamers that go back after a wipe to see what they did wrong.... People gana report them for using nividia playback or stored recordings on twitch to learn/prog?
I remember them on twitch discussing numerical aoe dmg ect ect pulled from fflogs live feeds. So where is this line? Better go report them![]()
You could just copy it out of the battle log every pull and build an algorithm to sort the data before it's put into a spreadsheet and that's how you can make a parser that doesn't interact with the game. Im not saying its practical but its doable.
