Either way, my stance remains. I will stand or fall on my own merits, no triggers, no parsers, no callouts..I will improve as times goes on, you can improve without addons, by practice, listening, learning...whether or not you approve makes me no never mind.

WOW is heavily invested to the point that anyone who plays that game is DEPENDENT on a load of addons .

FF 14 isnt.

The game and all its encounters can be defeated in a Vanilla UI. In that sense, FF 14 is a very good example of "bring the player, not the class".

ah yes, the dev team said that, the same dev team that has access to all kinds of data the player won't. The fact, p8s was overtuned and TOP had some quite glaring bugs really makes me go hmmmmmmmmm on that statement.

Except p8s was never overtuned, it was job balance that was atrocious. It's just that nerfing boss HP by a few % is much faster and easier than rebalancing the tank role, the caster role and the physical ranged role. The multitude of bugs in TOP are inexcusable though.

yeah, that's fair led to the same outcome though and still doesn't change the fact people need to take those comments with a grain of salt.

Yoship is not an infallible god, he can be wrong and in this case he very likely is. Unless he just doesnt consider ACT a forbidden third party tool which at this point is a fairly likely assessment considering what they punished and what they havent. Not every third party tool is cheating either, both are forbidden by the TOS but they're not the same. There's one thing I kinda agree on though: you technically do not need ACT to improve. A functioning brain will tell you that using you cooldowns as often as possible and not standing around doing nothing will improve your damage output. Will you end up at the most damaging rotation? Probably not, for that you (or someone else) will need to use ACT.
Still, you have so far failed to present proof that the people telling others to play better are the exact same people that use cactbot or whatever. As long as you fail to do so but continue your sweeping accussations your posts will be without merit.
