U/U gear drops are for $ unless people try to be asses like they did with HNM items. "You want it? 2 million or it goes to the floor". HNM for HNM sake don't even need to have good drops, or if they have good drops make them equal to instanced. It gives options to people about how to enjoy the game, idk why HNM needs to have the end all OP items. That is boring, played-out, and invites terrible player behavior. Yes, SE has to protect people from their own stupidity, greed, and everything else or you'll just end up with the same hostile environment that XI had. So far they've done a good job of it, they need to keep at it.

This is all stuff I've said before. People who just want OP items, admit that's all you want and could care less where they're from as long as you get it and other people can't.

A warrior on haubergeon does good damage, a warrior in Adaman hauberk does even better damage. It's simple math and statistics, proven time and time again.

As I have said many many time now, lets try to keep this thread free of people complaining, and focus more on how we can broaden the horizons regarding the idea of "HNM's" so that they can be of interest to more than one group of players.

Nope, on the first one it was being killed by another group as I arrived and my sister and I camped against them for several pops and then a group of 3 showed up just as I got the drop I wanted and we teled elsewhere. The second one we camped last night, someone else did come by we let him have the next pop. We will be going back NM hunting probably this weekend.

For the majority of posters that have contributed to ideas/concepts, if you feel as if my original post could use tweaking, please speak up. I am trying to edit it as we progress, but I'm sure due to the volume of this thread that some good ideas may be missing.

No one kills the NMs now (save for dodore cuz of his "OP" drop).

I assist folks in killing the NMs to farm low level gear and weapons for LS pals that are starting on a new class. Not to mention when I start a new class. Its the fastest, easiest, and cheapest maner to get decent low level gear. Your statement demonstrates great ignorance in the subject. Especially considering how often I see others there looking for gear, particularly now that the gear can be traded for seals.

The fact that this thread is in the 41+ page of which, at minimum, 1/2 the posters are argueing for HNMs that you so ignorantly claim people don't want for content.
