Bring Quality Notorious Monsters to FFXIV!

Nope, on the first one it was being killed by another group as I arrived and my sister and I camped against them for several pops and then a group of 3 showed up just as I got the drop I wanted and we teled elsewhere. The second one we camped last night, someone else did come by we let him have the next pop. We will be going back NM hunting probably this weekend.
Talking to this guy is pointless, he is going to troll you until he decides to go offline today.
He has gone so far as to edit quotes to make people appear to say things that they never said.
On Topic though:
For the majority of posters that have contributed to ideas/concepts, if you feel as if my original post could use tweaking, please speak up. I am trying to edit it as we progress, but I'm sure due to the volume of this thread that some good ideas may be missing.

You want to talk about protection from stupidity, man, you need a heck of a force field yourself.
Focus of fecal mater statement 1. I assist folks in killing the NMs to farm low level gear and weapons for LS pals that are starting on a new class. Not to mention when I start a new class. Its the fastest, easiest, and cheapest maner to get decent low level gear. Your statement demonstrates great ignorance in the subject. Especially considering how often I see others there looking for gear, particularly now that the gear can be traded for seals.
Your 2nd desplay of a nice fecal matter statement The fact that this thread is in the 41+ page of which, at minimum, 1/2 the posters are argueing for HNMs that you so ignorantly claim people don't want for content.
It is one thing to argue your perspective, but you by far crossed the line from unintelligently twisting facts to fit your arguement, to blowing smoke then the village idiot.

Who cares what a persons or groups motivation is to kill a NM/HNM... Many want that kind of activity and that should be reason enough to include them in the game. If I don't fancy killing them I wont. Simple as that.
They do need to be implemented well to prevent them being overly monopolized but lets not throw the baby out with the bathwater....
Also, I went and killed WNMs just last night, but I am probably "No one".

I want fights that are massive in scale and feel epic in the world. I want to have other linkshells spread around you while you take down a huge dragon out in the world as opposed to nerds sitting in their basements watching your livestream of an instance. I want server community where linkshells come together to physically compete with one another. AND YEAH I want some fking Herald's Gaiters along the way. What's so wrong with that? This is all stuff I've said before. People who just want OP items, admit that's all you want and could care less where they're from as long as you get it and other people can't.
Don't tell us what WE want like you even have a clue. Get off your whiteknight tangent and get off this thread.
All YOU want is to limit this game's unlimited potential for awesome content in the future.
You only like ideas that you like, the rest you shoot down, acknowledge all ideas, not just the ones you personally like. Again, you can't make any points, you just talk about what i wrote. Done again, unless you post more horrid lies about XI HNM fighting.
I have edited my original post and collaborated my edits to match the voices of the several hundred posts so far. I have compromised my original thoughts, to those of others: such as, drastically reduced spawn timers, wide spawn radius to reduce botting, instanced HNM's, force pop HNM's, etc etc. But you are going to troll anyway.
You have brought nothing to the table, besides for bother alot of people with your trolling antics. You have been proved wrong for several pages now, but you still ride your white knight horse with your opinionative nature that you are right and everything posted in this thread is folly.

Before Abyssea I checked things like Vrtra and Jormungand specifically because they weren't as heavily camped, and I was thinking about starting a shell to do them for the cash drops. They were actually pretty rare to come across. The big HNM shells on my server didn't let them roam very long unless something bigger was due to pop.
Even though the only NM I fought was Charybdis I have to admit it was fun. Only thing that topped it was Sky. I can only imagine what it was like to drop the ground kings, in a way I feel I missed out. Not that I missed out on the loot, but the experience of taking them out.
And instances really are no different on the work = reward front. I saw people camp things for months on end in FFXI to never see it. Conversly in WoW, which generally hands out gear like a pez dispenser, I watched a buddy of mine run an instance hundreds of times and never once see the item he was after. Matter of fact, he'd been running it a month solid when I caught up to him and started running the same one since it held 2 pieces I needed. I got my 2 pieces of gear, and to this day we still haven't seen his drop. I've even solo'd it for fun once they raised the cap, no dice. For reference, it was something he needed in BC to tank as Paladin. I wanna say a shield? And he couldn't get into higher tiers than Heroics because of lack of this item. Pretty well locked him out of BC raiding on that toon, because pally healing is boring as hell and back then Ret Paladin was the lolDRG of WoW.
I've also seen gear ninja looted during instances. I've seen PuG raid leaders show blatant favoritism and slip a guildmate an item without giving everyone a fair chance to roll on it. In a way I couldn't complain, it was a best friend IRL slipping me (the only hunter) a bow, but that's besides the point. IIRC it did cause one of our PuG'd members to drop group, and I couldn't blame him.
Everything has it's drawbacks. Even BCNM/KSNM. I don't even remember how many times I ran BCNM/KSNMs that people could typically net 1M in gil from, and only gotten around 15k. I'm sure there's someone out there that did the BCNM (or was it KSNM?) of Faffhog countless times and never saw anything worth a damn from it.
Edit: Forgot the point of all that, which isn't just ranting. Point was, the fact that drawbacks exist doesn't mean the content shouldn't. Just that you as a player need to decide which content is right for you and do that. We shouldn't be like WoW and narrow our PVE content down to Heroics and Raids or Heroics and Raids - now with "hard" mode! Diversity is a good thing.

First Post has been edited, thanks to all for the messages and posted ideas.
Please feel free to message me, or post in this thread if you have an idea that you feel could enhance the "HNM" discussion we have had in the last 40+ pages.
Thanks again to all thus far, lets keep this going and make this thread a bold shout that Square-Enix will hear.
