Brian from Work 2 Game is leaving FFXIV



Why announce that? I don't think small time Youtubers are going to move the needle. He does not even have 100,000 people to even give a damn; let alone make a change in an mmo. This isn't akin to that WoW streamer basically making XIV relevant.

He is probably playing right now lol. Who is to know, if these people who quit are not on an alt or something.

If he is quitting for his family, can't knock...as a man.

My take on his video:

Brian is moving on. He considers his time with his relatively young family as important; he wants to put more time into his work as a comedian. He will no longer have to expend the time and effort as a YouTube content creator who talked a lot about Final Fantasy XIV. He isn't trying to change people's minds about the game. His video was his explanation about why you'll stop seeing FFXIV content.

It's a decent thing to do when you've established a following, no matter how big or how small.
