Limited jobs are dumbSee thats the funny thing, people want these "Risks" and for the game to do new refreshing things.
But then they get exactly what they asked for, and they dont like it, saying it should be like everything else.
People wanted Bluemage, they got what they asked for...and they tried to be creative and take a risk on it so that they could retain its identity in the series, and create new content around it.....and people wanna say Bluemage should have just been a regular job. So, thats less incentive to take risks and try new things, when the community says they should just make it work like everything else....and then complain later again that FFXIV isnt taking risks and trying new things.
So then it become an issue of.....do people even know what they want?

He's right, it's been filled with shark think tanks of Rmt assh*les destroying pf's, even trolling some criterion savage, and sometimes, 24 man raids too a few times, and the whole "pay to erp" and "pay to dance" explosion of rmt wow troll refugees creating nightclubs turning around gamba , porn and millions gil sink since august 2020, making this game unbearable and destroying the mood, the experience overall, they are slowly making this game at their image, utter sh*t.
This is too much, they are eating this game alive with their grief in all aspects of the game that "can"' be griefed or exploited. This is slowly becoming another Age of Conan GM and friends / influencers situation destroying slowly the game within by dripping of privileges given to special groups to profit from side hustles "partof the deal" / job.

Careful, the Illuminati might read this message and think you're onto their all encompassing RMT scam.

If there wasn't a chance it wouldn't be well received, it wouldn't be a risk. They chose to make a fan favorite job into a side attraction, and for better or worse thats very much what it excels at being now.See thats the funny thing, people want these "Risks" and for the game to do new refreshing things.

But for some that risk didn't pan out. Which is fine, and they're both allowed to feel that way and express why they feel the risk wasn't worth the reward. It seems disingenuous to say "you didn't like how this turned out so clearly you don't want them taking risks."
Criterion Dungeons and Ultimate, for instance, were BIG risks that I feel were very worth taking, but Ultimate is frequently first cited by many as "the content that is taking away from everything else."
So mileage may vary, and they should keep taking risks, but I know I'll freely say when I feel the risk failed in my eyes.
