I suppose it was too much to expect for people to connect the dots despite the glaring issues with the quote in the OP, but at this point it's hardly worth explaining. Gradually over time since Stormblood we've been forced to put up with more and more of Yoshi's whims and terrible ideas in the vein of limited jobs, limited races he never planned to follow up on, and most recently what many view as his attempt to tamper with directly with the game's storytelling in Endwalker. No wonder it felt like such a disaster on that front, Dynamis didn't exist when Ishikawa wrote Shadowbringers.

As for content and gameplay, I hardly need to go on at length about either. Take a look around. This "playground" is in ruins.

And you continue to support it. You constantly pay a sub, you buy stuff from the mog station (including a very modern outfit which kinda clashes with all the medival talk and the shiba dog which only came out recently). Why should they change it if even people like you are still staying and paying?

Also curious if you have more characters than those linked into your profile. Because only one of those have a single job at lvl 90. Not a single crafter and gatherer the last I looked and barely any minions or mounts too. How much of the content are you playing?

Also did you finally do Island Sancturary? In another thread you said that you only get your information from others.

I have posted quite negatively in the past too, yet I always tried to have at least done the content for a bit.

And about the topic itself: So why would it matter if Yoshida plays it or not? Does he have to clear a Ultimate too for it to be developed? Should he gather every mount that comes out too or otherwise those are worth nothing?

He is a busy man. And he might have more in his life next to work than FF14. So maybe he wants to use the time he has in the game to do something else? I mean that is the normal way to do it. Do the things you like best the most.
